Thanks for sending a message to President-elect Trump.

Will you share this action with your friends? Every voice matters.

A vast majority of Americans support the Paris Agreement, and “canceling” U.S. involvement would be detrimental to the global fight to protect our health and our environment.  Trump hasn’t even taken the oath of office, and already he poses an unprecedented threat to the climate progress we’ve made. Now more than ever, we need fight back.

In his 100-day action plan on energy, President-elect Trump has said he will “cancel the Paris Climate Agreement.” The Paris Climate Agreement has already taken effect, and withdrawal would require a lengthy process. Furthermore, the agreement is supported by a majority of Americans and by a diverse range of businesses, investors, faith communities, doctors, and trade unions. “Canceling” U.S. involvement in the Paris Agreement would be in direct conflict with the will of the American people and would be bad for business, bad for public health, and bad for the economy.

With extreme Republicans controlling the House, Senate, and the White House, fighting for climate action will be an uphill battle. But with nearly three million more people voting for Hillary Clinton and her climate policies, we know that Trump has no mandate to go after climate progress, clean energy, or core environmental protections for our air and water. No country, no person, and no business is immune to climate change, and all must be part of the solution. Tell President-elect Trump that his victory does not change that fact.
